When new build boots up, nothing displays

When I power up my new build, the monitor acts asthough it's not receiving any signal at all.

All other fans except for the video cards one turns on.

Any ideas?

hrmm

is the motherboard mounted with the screws and stuff cuz i didnt get display til i mounted the motherboard with the right screws and stuff then i got it to boot up and i had to go to bios to load from windows XP disc in order to install operating system other then that i dont know what else to do so if that dont work then return it or take it to a shop so they can figure it out

It's defiantly not DOA as I put it in my other system to make sure it worked.

I just checked if another video card would work in this system, and when I put it in, and powered up the videos cards fan works, but still the same problem no signal being sent to the monitor.

What are the specs?

have you tried clearing CMOS?

How would clear CMOS?
