When the heck is raspberry-pi coming to US?

Ive been searching online and no one seems to know when in the world the highly anticipated raspberry-pi boards will be available outside the UK. Or anyone want to buy one for me and ship it to me?
 
Think you may be in for a long wait, they cant keep up with demand locally, let alone Nationally throughout the UK.

Think they want to roll them out to all UK schools first, VistaKid10 may be someone to help you
 
I got an email from RS Components on the 15th who are shipping my Raspberry Pi to me and they said that there had been some problems but they are trying to correct it, so you may be a waiting for a while. Don't also forget that there has been a massive demand for Raspberry Pi in the UK alone and they can't keep up with it like Gary said. Yes, they do want to try and sell them to school first and the UK has priority. Could be a while before they come to the States but they are planning on selling to the States and worldwide because they have released the prices on their website, see http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/826
 
If you get access to another one I will scoop it up in a heartbeat if you would ship it over for me. Ive got money in my paypal account waiting for the call! :)
 
Only applied for one. Sorry. Also, it would cost more it ship it to the States than it would cost to just wait and buy one when they come there. I don't even know when my one is arriving.
