where can i find IEEE1394

dont know whether u mean your present one a new ones but try control panel, performance and maintainance, system, hardware, device manager and it should be in there.
 
Please people i am very computer illiterate( spelling) I don't even know how to install a hard drive. The hard drive was already installed by my brother and he left back to california and didn't have time. The model is "Foxconn serial number is PC 650 M02 G 6L"

I tried and couldn't and didn't know how to find it.

Foxconn doesn't seem to to have the driver but never fear! Uninstall IEEE 1394 from device manager and upon reboot Windows will recognize the device and Should load their own drivers for it.
 
I did exactly what you told me and it didn't do it :-(
It says "Cannot install the this hardware" "Wizard cannot find the software"
