I've got a mobo here EVGA nForce 680i SLI NVIDIA Socket 775 ATX Motherboard / Audio / PCI Express / SLI / Dual Gigabit LAN / S/PDIF / USB 2.0 & Firewire / Serial ATA / RAID which supports 1200Mhz SLI certified ddr2 ram. I'm pretty sure that 1200Mhz ram doesn't exist yet, but I'm more interested in the SLI aspect. Where can I find SLI certified ram? I checked out tigerdirect and newegg (the two I am most familiar with) and I couldn't find any sticks of SLI certified ram. Any help here would be much apprecieated. Thanks!

Personally, though, I consider SLI certified RAM to be a bit of a gimmick (although not quite so bad as SLI certified cases). Any compatible RAM will work in an SLI rig. I'd just buy some quality RAM and not worry about the certification.

If you plan on ocing then you would simply go after the performance type memory best suited for it. You should see the comparisons in reviews on value ram when you are not ocing. I read one review some time back on a single sided 1gb dimm of value ram made by Corsair when compared to the xms series. The review described for the occasional gaming and average user that memory performed just about equal to the higher end models.
