where to buy mobo

Well neither of those boards is very good, but I would not go with Jetway, they are not a good brand. ECS is not great, but just OK. You should be fine with the second one.

almost all my boards at ECS< i like them, MUCH better board layout then soyo for sure, and never had any problems, and good bios. Whats wrong with jeyway? and what about the pcchips board that has agp and pci-e? or is that what you ment by the second one.

whats "lower" quility about it? what is worse? and it needs to stay under 50$ that board is to expensive for me, since im spending 80$ right afeter this on a pci-e card, and right before this i just spent 100$ on a harddrive.

Well there is nothing technically wrong with it, just not great quality.

I would recommend this one. It is a little over the budget, but much better quality.

Well Pcchips is frowned upon in the computer world. Jetway is not bad, I just wouldn't recommend them. I have had good experiences with ASRock, that is why I recommended that board. But I really can't speak much for the other boards. ECS is a better quality than the other 2

Well than I would go with the ECS board. It looks fine to me, and you like it, so go for it.

well i was just curois about the jetway so i would know, also is there anything wrong with the pcchips one that has the agp and pci-e slot? because im thinknig that might be better for future.(so i can put it in other comps when i upgrade there cpu's, so then upgraded video cards after will be eaiser.

Nonono, there is nothing wrong with any of these motherboards. I was just giving my opinion on the different brands. Any of them should work fine, and you really won't see any difference in performance.

well if you can tell no differences then how is one better or worse quliitiy?
I was not talking about the quality of the boards, necessarily, just the quality of the companies, from reviews. It should not matter which board you buy, but the ECS mobo would probably be the best choice.

I got the ECS one, now heres another question is the 6100 intergrated graphics better or worse then geforce 5500? because its goign in my sisters PC in the summer, when she moves out, my present will my an awesomo PC, 1gb ram, new cpu(socket 754) and the 5500 or 6100 intergrated, and a different case, which is more frendly. and new hd, hers is only 4200rpms, and puting linux on italong with windows, so when she messes it up again she can still do schoolwork on the linux untill i come to ix it like always, although windows xp instead of 2000 should help some.
