Where to download an OSX image??

I have a macbook a1342, locked out. I have no OSX DVD disk with it.
I got a 1TB HD and want to reinstall OSX.

I need the OSX DVD and don't want to order and wait for one. Is there anywhere trustable I can download an image of it.
I do not have another mac so I have to do it through a pc. If possible.
Also. What OSX would best fit this macbook a1342 model.

Do you have any friends that own Macs? You could always use their Mac to download a full copy of Mavericks.

Not really, they aren't very interested into letting me use their mac.
I was considering about running to the mac store in the mall with a DVD and doing it about an hour ago! LOL

I'm downloading osx 10.6 (retail version) .dmg torrent but im trying to find a windows program that will burn .dmg files. And the proper way to do it to make it bootable.

Well since you're downloading a torrent I can't help you with that. All I can suggest is convincing a friend to let you use their Mac. It's not like you're gonna destroy it.
