where to get Dell 20" wide 2005FPW

hey people,

well im planing to get the Dell monitor as it has had some awesome reviews and i would like o use it for everything such as TV, consoles and Computer. Its a 'perfect' size fit monitor for a room (not huge Plasma :P ) and is adequate for games like Far Cry, HL2, Doom3 and BF2. However, i have no idea where to buy this monitor in Austalia. I know it is on the Dell website, and i ordered from there, but then they hassled me on the phone, and treated me bad in all. So i cancelled the order, i have vowed never to buy Dell online again :P. However i still love the monitor, and i was wondering if any aussies (or anyone else :D ) on these forums knew which shop (MYER maybe?) it was possible to buy the monitor from?

EDIT: *gulp* u still order it through the net, and u dnt receive the product on the spot, :confused: is it the way that Dell operates that that their products are sold over the phone/web?

As far as i'm aware DELL do not have stores.You can only order Dell form the internet.But this is something new as they say for customers to have hands on experience with the product before purchase:
Dell Direct Stores, or multimedia kiosks, allow consumers to get first-hand experience with the latest Dell computers and accessories. Orders can be placed from each kiosk location through www.dell.com.au and computers are shipped directly to customers' homes.
So maybe there's gonna be some stores in Sydney and other areas in the near future...
 
well yeah there is a store near where I live, but my preference is to have my product bought and ready to go at the time of purchase, and i dnt think Dell allow that.... what i was meaning is that if a department store sold Dell products as much as they do HP or Sony, ill keep looking around but thanks for ur ongoing help!
