Where to put 2nd HDD LED Connector

Hi everyone... I didn't know if this was a motherboard question or a case question, but...

I have an ASUS Commando motherboard and I am installing a 2nd HDD for backup purposes. My case is the JPAC 412 Black which comes with a 2nd LED header connector, but I don't know where to put it on my motherboard... The ASUS Commando comes with the Q-Connector which has connection pins for one motherboard. My question is: Are there pins somewhere on the motherboard to put this connector, because I don't even see a second HDD LED on the case itself! Also do some different motherboards come with connection header pins for a 2nd HDD? I was just wondering if this was just an option if you had a motherboard that had headers for 2 HDDs and if anyone knew what on the case would light up if it had a place to connect... As you can see its just a minor issue question. Thanks.

It's pretty rare to find motherboards with more than one hard drive LED. I know a while back some hard drives had jumpers on them for LEDs, or actual LEDs(which could be modified if you so desired :P) However, even the stuff on the drives are fairly uncommon.

The real purpose of that may be for say another HD controller, as additional ones sometimes do have their own interface jumper. But seeing as you're probably going off your motherboard, I'd look into the hard drives jumpers. Maybe you could find some specs about it and find a jumper that shows the activity...

Thanks for the quick reply :) I didn't expect one so quickly to such a weird question...

Yeah, I didn't think many motherboards did have connectors for 2 HDDs... But that you mention the jumpers is interesting. Do you mean that the header connector is meant to connect to the juper pins? Would that make the LEDs light up with HDD activity? And if so, should I disconnect the main HDD header cable from the Q-Connector and connect it to the Jumpers slot on the main HDD? Also my HDDs are SATA connected. Would that make any difference? Or should I just forget the whole thing and its not supposed to be connected with my setup. Thanks :)
