Which AMD chipset would be the best choice for me?

I'm looking for a board with USB 3.0 and SATA 3, for use with an Athlon II Tri or Quad? Maybe a Phenom II 955 BE...

So Preferably a 8xx Chipset. I would rather not have onboard video, but if my card goes out I won't be able to afford a new one right away. I will be using At least 1 PCI-E x16, maybe two. And at least one x1 slot.

I was thinking 880G.
 
Yeah, if you want onboard a 880G or 890GX. If you dont mind Asrock, they make a 880G that will crossfire at 8/8 like a 890GX. ASRock 880G EXTREME3. Really depends on how much you want to spend.
 
Won't be crossfiring so I probably won't need 16/16. But I do want full bandwidth on all slots because I will add USB 3.0 Cards when it gets popular, and a Black Magic Intensity pro.
 
Nothing uses more bandwidth than x8 can put out other than the highest end video cards.

The 870 board, although can do x8/x8, is not as good as the 880g board. The 880g is 8 phase with mosfet coolers on the board, the 870 board is only 4 phase no coolers. If you are going with a quad, 8 phase will be better for overclocking.
Just because it has onboard video does not mean a thing. If anything it's a backup if your video card ever goes out so it's nice to have.

It's also better because it has a third PCIe slot at the bottom that you can use for x1 or x4 cards without taking away bandwidth from the top card (leaves it at full x16).

Looks like a very nice motherboard. I think I'll be putting that in my favorites.
I wanted a motherboard with a bunch of PCI express slots rather than PCI slots. I don't see much of a use for PCI anymore besides maybe sound cards, Wireless cards, and USB Expansion cards.
 
It's a very nice board.

Well you won't find a board with more PCIe slots unless you spend atleast $40-50 more!

Yes, although if you are going for something like a gtx460 or better it can handle PhysX while computing the primary graphics just fine.
