Which ATI Card???

is the 130 price tag worth it?... or what should i do as an alternative, and please no Nvidia, I want Ati, because my Mobo will allow hybrid crossfire...
 
Well, on newegg for a few dollars more you can get a new one.

The thing with refurbs is, it may not come with any accessories, including the crossfire bridge.
 
I don't need all the accessory, because mine is hybrid crossfire, basically my onboard HD3200 crossfire w/ my 3870 to give it a 15-20% boost...
 
well, its up to you. warranties usually aren't as good on refurbished either :P

I don't see why you don't get one of the cheaper ones on newegg. Its worth it..
 
Alright, i'm going to buy that one the new one... for 129.99... Thank you... BTW anyone know any good tuners that is cheap and have HD reception?
 
the gigabyte one is only GDDR3, and doesnt have ram heatsinks... is that the one your wanting to get? i would get the refurbished one over that lol
 
the ddr3 and ddr4 models see almost no difference in FPS, and the gigabyte is a good brand with a good heatsink.

well i'm stuck w/ the DDR3 version anyways, because the DDR4 version is not there anymore, i'm going to shop around, and look for a better deal... also could someone tell me a cheap TV Tuner?... I just need it for HD Reception over the air, and for my Cable to plug in my PC..
 
The gigabyte card has alot cheaper build quality, its basically an "overclocked" 3850. It doesn't have ram heatsinks, and uses cheaper capacitors. They're not solid.
 
Oh yeah, it does have solid caps. I was thinking about another card that was blue, i think.

I would get the sapphire one that stranglehold suggested. It'll be a good choice
 
I just got mailed the a tigerdirect catalog and they have visiontek ati 3870x2 1gb gddr3 on sale for $115. coolest running temps for a 3870x2 and it's oc'd

edit: if anyone clicks the link above to view it on tiger make sure you watch the video. It's the coolest running 3870x2 and actually outperforms the 9800gtx.
