Which board to get?

I just got a new Tsunami VA3000SWA case. http://www.thermaltake.com/xaserCase/tsunami/swa/swa.htm
I was curious what everyone would recomend getting. Money is of no object so I was wondering what was the best of the best. Also not sure if I am getting AMD or Pentium yet so I don't know how much you guys can tell me. Thanks.

nice motherboard, new pci express and 240 pin DDR you'll have to make sure you get a pci express card, there aren't as many as agp, since pci express still being new but it's suppose to be better.

I REALLY like my KT-880. it's so sweet. I'm AMD fan and as well as a Soyo fan so yeah, it's definitely my recommendation.

Is it a good idea to be looking for an athalon64 or 64fx...or go with the p4 with the faster clock speeds...or there one even better?

If its running a 800HT --- NOT FSB -- then its probably old. The 1Ghz HTs are the 'standard' now

Like i said before you need to settle down and figure out whether you want to get intel or amd. If money is no object the FX55 will be the route to go especially with the NF4 on the horizon.

if yo are going to go with 64 bit then go with FX for sure..more money but a lot better chip. I'm partial to AMD. But the new P4EE's and all that really hold their own. i think it's more preference than anything at the moment.
