Which build to choose?

Hello everyone, have been looking over this forum and have been taking in all the advice and reading other builds. I have narrowed down to see which the best options were I have come up with two builds, one amd and one intel. I am looking to spend around 600-650, and play cod waw,and alot of new games.

Intel:

Amd:

I see you changed the CPU for the Intel build.

I would still choose the AMD build. With that motherboard, the odds are, you will be able to unlock the other 2 cores with a simple BIOS setting. :good:

Well now you made it a little harder, but overall I'd still pick the AMD. Not as good processor (but not by much). Better GFX card, more RAM, and more HD space.

I would get the AMD build, unless you:

Get an i5 for the intel, along with the 5770, get a different HDD (7200.11's tend to fail)

Okay thanks for the reviews guys, I was leaning towards the amd myself i just was not sure. Theres a computer locally on craigslist which may be better for 600.

Wouldn't get that one. mainly because of the Rocketfish PSU. never heard of them. how much do you have to spend? I'll throw up a build on newegg, or you can just get the AMD build.

rocketfish

Yeah all i know is rocketfish makes nice mice, otherwise I dont know anything about there powersupplys. Id be really appreciative and intrested to see your build, I am looking at 700 max with shipping, thank you in advance.

I believe Rocketfish is one of Best Buy's off-brands like Insignia.

Yeah they have a lot computer accessories sold from them at best buy. Got a Mac mouse and a webcam of their brand, don't seem to have issues with them yet.
