Which card should i get the GeForce FX 5500 256mb version or the Geforce FX 5900 XT and why?

Another question for a good gaming graphic card would it be better to have more memory or more bits?

When you say bits, I assume you mean memory interface? Definetly the interface...

definetly the 5900xt, it's ALOT better than the 5500, i don't have the comparision specs but will post them later if needed.
