This is part of my New Build v.2 thread, but I think this is a more appropriate spot to ask/discuss.

Debating over these two cards, don't want to go over $270, will replace with a DX10 (ATI or nVidia) in probably 1-1.5 years. Other card suggestions are appreciated, please include a link (preferably newegg)

SAPPHIRE 100186L Radeon X1950XT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 VIVO PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card - Retail

eVGA 512-P2-N637-AR GeForce 7950GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 KO Superclocked Video Card - Retail

Heres the motherboard I'm planning to get aswell

Motherboard - EVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR Socket T (LGA 775) NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

I don't want a card on backorder so I went with the Superclocked. Also, didn't see an exact match on Tom's Hardware either of these cards, there is one for the Geforce but it is not the Superclocked version, and just didn't see one for X1950XT 256mb.

Thanks

EDIT: Links fixed, sorry about that.

I did a search on both of these cards, there is a lot of support for each one, so I am still not sure =X, slightly leaning towards eVGA because it is a 512, more pixel pipelines (I know these things aren't the end all be all but still..), and the step up policy. Thoughts?

How much does the "Superclocked" add in terms of performance over the regular 7950GT?

Spent two nights on this so far and haven't run over a conclusive answer =/, I've checked other threads pertaining to these cards, and I'm still stuck, help would be nice :P
