Which card to purchase?

Hi All! ,
I'm hoping to able to get a new graphics in the next couple of months. I only game @1080p and occasionally 1440p but what card would you recommend.
I'm toying between a 6600xt 8gb or rtx3060 12gb.
I read reviews stating the 6600xt is faster but should I go for the rtx3060 with 12gb

They're pretty similar, I think the 3060 pulls ahead in RT and DLSS scenarios, although more FSR being added to more games negates that a little bit.

12 GB would theoretically give you a little more longevity but by the point you're exceeding 8 on a card they'd both be a bit outdated for new titles.

1440 should be pretty solid in most titles with either.
