Which Channel

Not sure if it's better to let my router auto-select a channel or to set a specific channel myself ??

If I set a channel myself, is there an app to let me see what channels are already in use by my neighbors. Would be best to find the channel with the least traffic would it not.

Usually channel 6 is set to default. You can always try changing it to get the best signal quality.

There is no way to find that out. You will just have to find out which channel is best for you.

If under windows netstumbler will show you all of your neighbors access points and what channels they are on.
