Which computer to buy

I'm soon going off to college and I'm looking for a computer that I am able to both play games on and do work. I'v narrowed it down to these two but I am unsure of which one to proceed with. You won't be playing many games at all with those.

Centrino imo isn't good really.

Id get a core 2 duo laptop.

Btw how much you looking to spend?

I'm wanting to spend about 1500 if possible, could you tell more about the different processor platforms because it said that both of the processors were core 2 duo?

Toshiba. Although it have slower CPU (T5450), it is cheaper, it have 8700MGT and 17" monitor. I think it perform better overall.

i'm sure you can find a better deal than those two.
