Which Core?

Clawhammer or Venice? i read that Clawhammer is older and hotter. i need a cool CPU. Both on a Athlon64 3500+.

Venice definitely, that runs a lot cooler.

Another vote for the Venice. Cooler and lower power consumption due to superior manufacturing technology (90nm vs 130nm). Better overclockers as well.

Cool, thanks. Is the San Diego any good? I am looking at the 3700+ San Diego. It has more L2 cache. Is San DIego newest?

It does have more L2 Cache, but the price is much more expensive compared to a Venice 3200+. i would go with either a Venice 3200+ or 3500+.

i know its kinda late to be posting but i also go with the venice 3500 good decsion...actually i got one commin in the mail this minute for me, as well as the rest of my new rig (god im sick of this computer )
