Which CPU for this limited budget setup?

Ok ive just started my first new build and im struggling with a processor as im on a limited budget, i currently have:

460w PSU

Western Digital 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm - OEM Green Power

OCZ 4GB Kit (2x2GB) DDR2 1066MHz/PC2-8500 Reaper Memory HPC Edition Dual Channel

Was looking at the Q6600 but im not going to be doing loads of gaming, more photoshop and CAD stuff so wouldnt be overclocking.

Would the Q6600 be going a bit over the top for my setup, could i get away with a cheaper core 2 duo and if so what would everyone recommend?

What are the prices you can find with the Q6600 processor versus the Intel E8400?

If the cost isn't a lot more I would go with the Q6600 processor. However I would look for the Q6600 that is a 95 Watt processor. There are two versions of the Q6600 processor. Get the one that is 95 Watt.
 
Q6600 isn't really for gaming yet...it will be during the course of the year but Q6600 will do better if the programs like video editing and I believe CAD are set for 4 cores.

It should defeat a dual-core...dual core is only superior for gaming right now. Also if you buy a cheap cooler you can easily clock it to 3.0ghz without a voltage increase (normally this is true)
