which DDR to use?

i'm a bit confused over the PC1600, 2100, 2700, 3200 DDR. i'm going up with another one, shuttle mobo w/800 fsb, sata, Prob. 2.8 or 3.2 HT P4. So my question is which of the above memory would be best? not into gaming or launching a spaceship. manual for mobo just lists the above, it doesnt make any recommdations. any help would be appreciated!! paul

alwase go for 3200, its not much more expensive

Then the 3200 would be the best. And its probably just as much/cheaper then the lower grades.

isn't there a diff in the latency? & a little $. So who would buy less than 3200, assuming your board supports it? thanks guys....paul

well if you buy a 3200 ram iw/ 3.0lat, it could also run at 2700 with i think 2.5lat and sometimes 2100 with2.0 lat.

3200 would be the best. sometimes there exactly the same price ,+/- a few bucks.
