Which drive?

I have the older version of Microsoft Flight Simulator that I want to download to my new computer, or My WD "My Book" external hard drive. Which drive would you recommend. I use my computer for just average things.

As Tremmor said, the internal drive is the better option. While it'll run off of either, it'll load much faster on the internal drive, as it has much higher transfer speeds than a USB external drive.
