Which DVI Cable to get?

So i have an old monitor lying around, (pretty small, 16") but i wanted to hook it up to my PC so i can have a game open on my main monitor and anything else on the othr monitor.

Well my graphics card is a GTX 560 ti and im using the hdmi cable for my main monitor already.

The small monitor doesnt have a dvi port, only various analogs such as scart, VGA and some other RCA connections.

It luckily has a HDMI port.

So you see my problem, id like to hook up both monitors. So i could use the hdmi cable that i currently use for my main monitor for the smaller screen, then use a DVI cable for my main monitor? (Theres no reason why it shouldnt have a port) i cant check because its mounted to the wall but when my dads back i could!

So which DVI cable would i need going from my 560 ti to my samsung 32" LCD monitor? I got confused because of DVI-D and DVI-I etc etc.

EDIT: The dvi cable will need to be low profile and right angle if thats possible, as its wall mounted.
 
Most likely since its just a tv and not a monitor, its only gonna have a vga port. You'll need a dvi cable and a dvi to vga adapter to hook up to the tv.
 
Okay but the VGA wont effect resolution or picture quality at all will it? The graphics card came with a DVI to VGA adapter but i think you have to attacht it to the graphics card and not the tv end of the cable? would this matter?
 
The vga port is the same whether it be on the video card or monitor. If your looking for picture quality, then you need to have an hdmi connection. I haven't seen a tv with a dvi connection...yet!!! You'll get hdmi and vga.
 
just to be sure: having the VGA port on one monitor and HDMi on the other, they dont have to be the same resolution right?

For example could i have the 32" at 1920x1080p and the smaller one at the highest possible from vga?

They do not have to be the same resolution.

The maximum resolution VGA supports is something like 1600x1200 at 60hz.

That cable you purchased will work just fine :).
