Which Game Should I choose?

I cant decide between AOE 3, Civ. 4, or Rome: Total War.

I like these types of strategy games and have never playe either, but from whatr I have read... AOE 3 and Rome: Total War you more or less build an empire and fight other societies. Also with Rome: Total War you can play online, unlike any of the others, correct?

And Civ. 4 is more like Sim City 4?

-- Which is the better of the 3?
 
AOE2 you can play online, so i asume that in AOE3 you can. Andin Civ 1&2, and simcity 3000 something, they andcompletly different in how you play, and unless it has dareastically changed and completely difffernt.

I havn't actllyplayed any of those though, some some of the older ones of those so i cant tell you which to buy, just some added input.
 
if rome total war is anything like medieval toatal war, then its not a very fun game imo. it seems like it would be better as a board game than a computer game.

it is a very good game.. well.. more a simulation, thats why not everybody likes it. its vere realistic.
 
aoe3 is pretty fun... if you liked aoe2, this is the same except better and prettier... awesome game, and i usually play fps only

r u talking about rome total war or meieval total war? do they use the same engine?

Im talking about Rome.
And no, the engine rome's using is fay better as the one mideval used.
however, you need patience for that game, because it can take long :)
