Look at it the other way around... Nvidia's mid range cards are better performers for the price you pay for them ;) that is my oppinion, and it looks like many people agree with that :p

I agree with that as well. I would go the nVidia route up to a 7900GT, if I want something of higher performance, i'll go with ATI's x1900XTX.

I have the Club Radeon 9600 (256Mb)

Im very happy with this card even though its probably nothing compared to todays newer cards.

Plays Doom 3,Fear and most new games just fine on medium-High.

Wont be upgrading it until i get new computer.

its used to a data server, but when im home (im at bording school) i use it to game on.... its an X2 3800 @ 2.4 Ghz with 2 GB of ram and a TB or so of DATA

oohh and no offence meant... still a great card, plays HL2 @ 1280 x 1024 on full beautifully :D
