Which GPU to buy?

I can get the 1gb version of the GTX 460 for 140 dollars. Can i get a better card for that SAME price or less (or slightly higher). It will be used strictly for gaming. Thanks.

If it is a new GPU then go for it.

See the thing is I don't want to pay more for a better GPU if I won't really utilize it. May monitor only goes up to 1280 x 768. I want to play graphically intensive games like crysis on max settings and full AA + AF. Will GTX 460 be over kill for that?

Thanks thats what i've concluded through research. Plus that card is pretty damn future proof.

Well considering the fact that GPU's decrease in price over time it makes sense to get a lesser but adequate card now (one thats reasonably future proof) and get a better one later.

If I am not wrong the XFX is a seasonic unit.
