Which GPU?

im doing a build for gaming and regular every day computer stuff like listening to music surfing the web. what do you think of this gpu? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150316 is there anything better for around the same price maybe cheaper. I would be playing games like fallout 3 and lord of the rings battle for middle earth 2, age of empires 3 and stuff like that

I have the XFX 9800 GT and it runs great, I can play Crysis on high at 1680x1050. HIS is usually the better brand, but from experience I prefer MSI. It's really up to you.

this review has benchmarks in it that include the cards your looking at and the cards that I showed you. There have been driver and firmware updates since then, but it didnt change these cards that much.

okay so my monitor runs at 1680 x 1050 and on that one it shows the 9800GTX+ better then the 4850 but how much better is the GTX+ then the 9800GT

Heres a comparason between the two. The GTX as more stream processors, and comes overclocked, so I would definitely take the gtx over the gt. Go videocards>desktop>nvidia>9000series>9800>xfx> and then you can pick what game it comes with

It also depends on how demanding the game is. The GT will hit the wall before the GTX, and with the higher clock speed the gtx will work faster.
