I think AMD is going to release a card soon that competes with the Geforce 3060 line from Nvidia.
That being said, right now, gamers prefer Nvidia 30XX line over anything from AMD due to their proprietary way of doing some of the ray tracing, which is a shortcut to actually doing real time ray tracing for some things. The end result is a much faster rendering on the scene, which makes games play smoother. Don't ask me how it works.
