Which GTX 1070 Graphics Card?

Black Friday deals a comin'
Not only that, but the EVGA cards recently were found to have a flaw in their design. There is a fix for it, but I'm not sure if the new card on the shelf has this thermalmod fix yet.

If you still want to buy an evga card during the black friday sales, after the purchase I would talk to the EVGA support just to make sure your card has the thermal mod installed. They offer an RMA service to do the work on existing cards without the mod if you don't feel comfortable just having them send you a few strips of thermal pads to do it yourself. There is also a BIOS update that is suppose to fix the problem too, but the thermal pad installs reduce the temperatures of the vrm even further.

Not a big issue if your computer isn't going to be exposed to high ambient temperatures.

Huh...Really? I mean...To be honest I don't really understand what you're saying. XD Should I just look at another card?

He did post the link to the EVGA site that has the FAQ regarding the issue.

Perhaps, in your case, it would be best course to pick from an alternate vendor. I use MSI and recommend them for an alternate. They often tend to be priced a tad higher than some competitors, but I'd argue they have superior cooling solution.

In any event, look at this offering from MSI, $385.99 after rebates + a FREE game --->MSI Gaming X GTX1070
