Which is Better for gaming, Quad Core or Duel Core

You mean cores? Yes it does and will. The performance difference between 2 and 4 cores might be small to some, but the superior multitasking of a quad core was what made me buy the Q6600 over the E8400. I dont think the tiny gain of FPS in games from a higher clocked dual core on a game that doesnt support quad cores will make up for being able to have any program you want open in windows while your playing that game :). Go with quad core and u wont be disappointed.
