which is better for gaming

I have about 900-950 on buying a gaming laptop

yes i know desktop is better for gaming but im going to be moving alot and i cant haul around a desktop so im in a pickle on what i should get

The MSI has a newer card - GT 840m vs GT 740m.

But the Toshiba has a stronger CPU, so if you are also doing stuff like editing I'd get the Toshiba.

Otherwise, you can save a bit of money and get the MSI. The i5 4200M is good - I have one in my ThinkPad.
