which is better netbook or laptop?

would a netbook be adiquete as say a second computer ie in the bedroom just to serfe the net and r u able to install aol?

Ohh yeh,, just a basic machine that sits in your room? thats fine,!!

As for AOL...no idea what u need to install or do....I'm Canadian and have never seen/used/have experience with anything aol related.

But AOL is sucky... Do they provide the service? Or are you getting it from someone and using thier client, cause that is how I believe it works. If the latter, I would say just use firefox or IE as a web browser, you don't need AOL

I have both a Netbook and a Laptop. As others have said, they are both good for different things. I personally love using the Netbook for taking notes in class, carrying around with me, using in the car, on trips, etc. since it's very portable, has great battery life, very light for carrying around, and several other pros. The laptop is great for doing multimedia work since they are generally more powerful, have a larger screen, and have an optical drive.

well aol is just like any other isp like orange bt etc lol

I just have horrible memories of AOL from back in the day. And I wasn't aware they provided anything higher than dial-up as an ISP. I did know they had their application created to work with a broadband connection though.
