which is better quality

No idea.
But would choose EVGA over MSI, as it is cheaper, include 3 year warranty.

Also, anandtech had a review on GTX760 2GB, comparing EVGA and Gigabyte. You could probably have a look.

thanks for the suggestions. im deciding between these 2 cards only. they both have a 3 year warranty. I was leaning towards the evga until I came across the msi. it looks better for the theme I have going on in my case, and it also has a back plate which evga does not, and it cools better than the evga so far as I have seen in review comparisons. im just not sure to msi's customer service when it comes to warranties. any one have any suggestions?

Buying a second 670 would be better than a 760, they're a little stronger and the price difference wont matter when you lose some selling yours

if I buy a new 670, it will cost me another $460 for the same card which is an evga 4 gig version. if I sell the 670 I have I can get $275, and that will pay for most of the 1st 760 4 gig, then ill have to put out only $300 more for the 2nd 760. together ill only be in it for $300 for performance greater than a titan, compared to $160 ($460 Total) more for the 670, which would give me just slighter gain in performance over the 760's sli'd. I don't know.

maybe I should ask this question instead to get more clearer opinions.

what would make more scence performance per dollar:
2 x 670 4 gig for $920
or
2 x 760 4 gig for $630

do the 670's perform that much better than the 760's to justify the extra $290?

(also, I try to not let it make a difference, but the current 670 I got for free. so one can look at it like im only spending $460 for a 670 4gig sli set up, or be like me and look at it like im getting $275 donated for free towards the 760 4gig sli set up.)

nevermind, the 760 is a bit closer to the 660ti, but forgot the 4gb 670 cost so much more and just havent looked at prices in a while

I don't think you'll realistically notice a difference, I highly doubt that the evga will have any heat issues, unless your planning on overclocking the GPU. What are you planning on doing with the set-up?

mainly gaming. I like to play all my games on maxed out settings, and when I got crisis 3 and couldn't up the AA settings to max, well, I realized that I need to either get another 670 4 gig card or sell it and get 2 x 760's. I say 4 gig of vram, because when I am playing crisis 3 now, my vram will get up to 2.9gigs on the 670 I have, so ill be sticking with 4 gigs of vram on my cards, since future games coming out over the next year or 2 will more than likely be using more and more of it. im just looking to get a sli setup to last me the next 2 years, then sell the qhole pc and start form scratch again.

ive been real tempted to break down and get another 670. right now im using the evga FTW+ gtx 670 4 gig card, and they go for $460. I went out and bought 2 x 760's from best buy (2 gig versions), to just try out (since I can return them within 14 days) and they seem to run pretty well. the 2 gigs on them get maxed out with crisis 3 though, but since im going to bew getting the 4 gig cards, that issue is non existant.

still don't know which way to go though. I agree, that the 760 seems to perform almost onpar with the 670, when I run just one of the 760's in comparison to the 670. I did some benchmarking between the 2.

3dmark 11 xtreme settings
670=3235...760=3038...760 sli=5519

3dmark firestrike
670=6059...760=5760...760 sli=9080

heaven
670=1155...760=1060...760 sli=2030

valley
670=1763...760=1675...760 sli=3125

seems like the 760's in sli scale at about 92%. im wondering if the 670 would scale any better in sli?

if I went with the 670, it cost is $460 out of pocket, since I already have one. if I go with the 760's, id sell the 670 I currently have for $250, bringing cost down to $385 out of pocket.

should I spend the $75 extra and go for the 670, or save the extra money and shoot for the 760's by msi.

thanks again for any other suggstions.

you can get the Gigabyte brand 670 4gb for 385 instead. I think someone said they are a little louder and the cooling isnt too much better, but it will downclock to the same as the other card and that should make it good. I know matching looks nicer but worth $65 better? and this way is a lot faster and a little more powerful than selling it then ordering the 2

thanks for that suggestion johnyp. although that gigabyte 670 looks enticing, I just cant pull myself to order it. I would want the cards to match. the only place that the evga card is selling is on tigetdirect, and its $470 out the door. that alot. im wondering how much those extra 200+ cuda cores will make a difference in crisis 3 and other future demanding games? would hate to sacrifice performance over $100. but then I would hate to pay that $100 for performance that really wont make a difference. when I play crisis 3 in sli on these 760's I still get dipps to the low 30's, but then my vram is tapped out since they are 2 gig cards. I wonder if that would go away if I were to have the 4 gig cards, since I know that game has used up to 2.9 gigs many times during gameplay.
