I've been offered a Toshiba Equium A210 1AS in place of my Compaq v5000 by a certain computer company who lost it while they were supposed to be fixing it.
Is this laptop any good or should I ask for something different? If so what would be a good equivalent. Obviously I can't ask for anything too much better than I had before but they are to blame so I expect a bit of an upgrade!
Are there any particular faults I should check for with the Toshiba as I don't think it's brand new - possibly one they've been using to lend to customers, or possibly one they've fixed or something.
Any thoughts gratefully received as I'm not very clued up!
