AMD Athlon II X4 640 3.0GHZ Quadcore
or
QUADCORE AMD LLANO A6 3650 2.60GHz?

please tell me which is better.

thanks folks!!! :)

depends on what your looking for.. the 2 are bassed off the same cpu, so cpu wise, the Athlon II x4 640 is the way to go as its clock is higher. graphic wise, the liano would be the better one then.

The X4. If the board has an igp, that might be good enough. If not then add the gpu of choice.
Why between those 2?

should i go for AMD anthlon even if it is second hand?
thank you for your response :)

From what I can read, the Athlon doesn't have a dedicated graphics card.
Kinda depends what you need it for, really.

ill use it for games, and because they're cheap that's what my budget can only afford :/
which is better for games? like tf2 something like that.

Our if you're really hurting for money see if you can find a Phenom II X4 processor that's cheaper than the 4300. 4300 is the lowest you can go CPU wise. Although I do know some of the really low end Ivy Bridge CPU's are actually pretty decent.

If you're on a pretty tight budget though and want gaming, a FM2 processor from AMD with integrated video might not be a bad option either.

^ i completly agree with above statement. go with a FM2 platform, and an APU from AMD, and it will suite you better for gaming under your budget conditions. if you go with a standard cpu and use integrated graphics thats on the motherboard, you will NOT be gaming to well. with the APU, at least you will be able to play games on low- medium settings. just be sure the ram it comes with is at leat 1866Mhz, as it will help with the graphics unit to render quicker. so you should ask the guy your buying it from if you can get the ram changed to that speed.

He sells Athlon II X4 for about $180(is it cheap? LOL) and the other one he sells it for about $190 brand new but has no hardrive and v.card,

and he is also selling video cards and of course i also dont know which v.c should i go for.

ATI Radeon HD5450 1gb 64bit

Palit GF210 1gb 64bit DDR3

Inno3d GT220 1gb 128bit

ATI HD4350 1gb 128bit DDR2

Palit GT220 1gb 128bit DDR3

Palit GF210 1gb 64bit DDR3

Qube GF210 1gb 64bit DDR3

Redfox 9400GT 1gb 128bit

Galaxy 9500GT 128bit DDR2

Inno3d 9500GT 1gb 128bit

Inno3d 9500GT 512mb 128bit

8500GT Sonic 256mb 128bit DDR3

these names are so confusing :(
which v.c should i get? he only sells limited items. and that's the only list of v.c he sells. or maybe you can recommend other brands of V.C that suits for that.

what if i go for Athlon II X4 and buy one of those Video Cards and get a 4gb DDR3 Ram. is that good or what?

Thank you so much! i appreciate your responses! Many thanks!!.
it will help a lot! :D

Honestly, none of them are very good at all. The 210 would be the one to get of those, but look around for a gts250 or gts450. Hd5770 would be the lowest to go on the amd line.

As for the processor, there is nothing wrong with a athlon II x4, but don't give more than 80 usd for it..

$180 for an Athlon II X4? That's too expensive.

Try and at least get a GTS 250. They're actually pretty good cards for light gaming. None of the cards you posted are gaming cards by any means.

When he says Inno3d GT220 1gb 128bit, i assume 1GB is the dedicated graphics memory on the card, what's "128 bit" ?
128bit addressing? Why would anything need 128bit addressing?
sorry if this is a stupid question, m just curious :)

That is the rate at which the graphics memory can be addressed. Really all it does is increase the bandwidth of the memory.

no $180 for the whole pc, mother board 2gbRam 500gb hd and 600watt power supply and just built in video card, is it cheap or expensive for that???
ill just find video cards on other shops, im' glad i came here before buying things or else ill end up buying craps. Hahaha
and is it expensive for a second hand pc?
thanks a lot! :D

$180 = £114 or thereabouts, that's not bad value at all.

Depending on exactly what PSU the PC has, you may need to replace it should you want to run a decent card (it may be '600W[' but it needs to be a good quality unit from a reputable brand).

You probably also want to upgrade the RAM too. 2GB is scraping the bottom of the barrel these days. Upgrade to 4GB if you can, 8GB would be good.

Yeah you could buy that and save a bit for a RAM upgrade then a better video card. Even a crappy 600w PSU could run a mid range card.
