Apple? :P

This list is awfully short... But regardless, I don't look at brands as much as specs. Most any company can have crappy models and high-end models.

I agree with the other one. I've seen bad models out of all the manufacturers that you listed. Every company seems to have a bad model sooner or later. But, out of all the monitors I have had, Dell has performed the best. They make a solid monitor.

Well naturally I'm going to go with Samsung because I'm a rather big fan of the monitor I have now :). They make some nice monitors and they're not sold at ridiculously high prices either.

I didn't think Dell actually made their monitors? I thought LG were the ones that manufactured Dells displays with it not actually being branded an LG?

Rove.

I voted Acer because I have had good luck with them but Samsung and Philips make good monitors too. Plus Dell does have some good ones but they dont make them.

Bingo. I've read that too, many times.
That said, I've read excellent reviews of ViewSonics, I bought one, I love it.

I would have to say dell and westinghouse those are the only brands I have used and am currently using even though I have seen acer, viewsonic and samsung models on display in stores and they arent bad.

I'm supprised you don't have dell on your list. I would deff say that they make some of the best monitors.

really do u think dell is the best how much do u reckon i could get a 22inch or 20inch moniter with speakers or i dont mind if they dont have speaker.

I know ViewSonic have speakers in some of their monitors, I'm not so sure Dell do, Dell are also very expensive, or in the U.K they are. I got my ViewSonic for £200 and Dell so a similar one for about £250! I've had an experience with a Samsung TV and I though it was alright, Phillips also have good value equipment, some of their monitors include speakers but that may only be the one I've used. Also have a look at Sony, the one my parents have is top notch.
