the other one for $999 is great.. its the one i was looking at buying... researched it for like a month along with alot of others...

Depends what you want it for.. if having a lil better cpu and 6 gb of ddr2 instead of 4, then go for the bigger one



personally id pick the one for 999

I think you linked two of the same things both being ddr2 O: also i was looking to spend 800 to 1000 max which would be BEST for gaming with jus spending 999 max? and how long will it last me gaming wise like will games coming out in the next few months or even a year be able to run on this? also i want to run World of Warcraft on MAX all Max settings. !

WoW is nowhere near as demanding as Crysis, and the Asus laptops all have the gtx 260m which is one of the best cards out ... i just linked the asus for 1299 cuz you listed ones that were 1199... but if you wanna stay under 1000 , then yes the asus g60 for 999 is gonna be a beast for the price... You wont max that video card out for at least 2 years

k so do u think i should deff. get the 999 one i also had one more question about it.. since it just came it the price will probably not go down till like january right? because my dad is saying tht i should wait a month but i feel like in a month or even 2 or 3 it still wont go down because of how good the product is. what's your idea on this?

well like i said .. i almost pulled the trigger on this one.. but last minute i got a DEll Studio XPS desktop which is pretty loaded for $1k, i7 cpu, 240 1 gb gpu, 8 gb ddr3, 8 mb cache and it is awesome, just went with it cuz i dont really carry a laptop arounnd much, so it made more sense to get a DT..

But as i was sayin , this took place of the g51vx, so its only been out sionce win7 was released ( whats that , like a week ? ) So no it wont go down yet, and from what i hear its gonna go up to 1099...


I believe its just a short term promotion for all the new windows 7 stuff.. My XPS i got last week was 1019.. Now its $1119.... So for what its worth I would get it now.. and yes, its a hell of a computer..
