Which laptop £500?

ok so in a week or so i'm gonna buy a laptop, it needs to be £500 max.

i'm gonna be using it for uni work, watching films and some gaming (football manager mainly, but some fps on low settings).

so i'm gonna need 4gb ram and a dedicated graphics card.

i'm not sure which would be the best option, everywhere i've looked have said things that contradict each other, for example; someone said that the dells have poor build quality but the acers have really good build quality, whereas someone else said that dells have good build quality and the acers don't.

so i'd like some help choosing which of these would be best.
