Which Laptop Brand?

What laptop brand do you recommend?
My budget it around $500.

DELL XPS series are good
Also SAGER Makes very good laptops(usually SAGER laptops has less problems thant other brands)
Asus are good to, they have a great warrenty.

Toshiba, Acer or Gateway.. stay away from the DELL.

with that budget you can get only ebtry level laptops like Acer, Dell or compaq. if you wanna go for higher brands you will have to increase your budget a little

I like Toshiba, HP are not to bad. Actually you can't go wrong with any of the major brands. Dell has had some really bad issues with their video. We are now tech refreshing our clients with the new E6400's. They seem way better than the "D" series notebooks.

yeah true! i didnt mean that they are bad, but with that budgethe can get a good PC of those brands

if you're still looking for a laptop, newegg has a amd acer 5536 for 400. i ordered one, seemed like a good deal, it's 15".
