Which laptop is the better laptop?

The HP would be the fastest. When you say all around user, what do you mean? Internet, word processing? Or are you talking about photoshop, 3D modeling, virtual machines, gaming, etc?

I would advise against the HP and Acer because they have a bad rep around here. There are many better computers for the price, and less, even.
