Which Laptop Should I buy?

I am a high-school student, who will be going away to college soon. I would like to get a computer that will satisfy my basic requirements of general computer usage and will be able to meet my needs as a photographer.

I would like a good graphics card, a good screen (1080 14+), a decent amount of space (300 gb space + preferably), a good processer 4+ gb ram, something that is very durable (I am 18 after all), good battery life and under $1500.

Right now im looking at a MSI GX640, MSI GX740, Asus G73jh, and the Alienware Mx15 with a graphics card upgrade.

If you think one of these laptops is best please tell me, and if you think you found a better pc please also tell me.

Thanks

Mike

The ASUS G51JX-X3 is probably the most suited one for you, its not the best for games but it can run more than the average notebook, and also the price is around what your budget is.

well since ur max is 1500 dollars the g73jh would be ur best bet. it has an amazing i7 processor, top of the line graphics card, powerful ram, but it doesn't have the best battery life (5-6 hours with a 9 cell battery, 2 hours while gaming). thats the only trade-off though. I would go ahead and get the g73

I actually must agree with jarlmaster47. The g73 would probably be your best bet. And if you want more batterie power just go and buy a extra batterie for 100-400 depending on the cell size.

so it sounds like g73 is the best, but is it durable. I got a mac 3 years ago (terrible decision) and it is not durable at all. I just want to make sure that my new computer doesnt fall apart like my mac did.

thanks for all your help, mike

As far as i know asus is probably one of the most durable laptops. And also mac laptops are not bad, it just depends on how you treat it like all other laptops or notebooks.
