Which laptop should i buy?

I have 2 choices, and i cant really decide:
1.66Ghz Vaio Core 2 Duo T5500 (FE790GN)

2.0Ghz Vaio Intel Pentium M 760 (FS8900P5)

They are $30 difference. SO money is not a factor
Is the Core 2 duo T5500 better than the Intel Pentium M 760? Anything else i need to know? Any other computers in the $1200-$1400 price range i need to know about.

I would take the first one. It has so many things more better then the second one. Especially the processor. To answer your question, the Core 2 Duo is much better then the Intel Pentium M 760. Just don't do gaming on the computer and everything will be fine.
 
the core2duo is far superior in the multi-tasking category so anything besides gaming on it will out preform the seccond one...
 
The only reason why I said not to do games on it is because the graphics card isn't that good for games. That is because it has an integrated graphics card. Those types of cards usually don't preform well in games. If you could, I would get 2GB of ram because of two things:

1. The graphics card is integrated which means you will have 768MB of ram as opposed to 1GB. That is because it is an integrated graphics card of 128MB.

2. If you are planning to be running Vista, it will be better with 2GB of ram.
