Which Laptop should I choose guys?

I've been looking at both these laptops, and I wanted it for University work and some decent gaming (not looking for ultra graphics or anything, just med on some half decent games).

Which one would people recommend, the Dell is £100 cheaper, but I'm unsure whether the i7 in the HP is worth all that extra money, I'd rather not spend it if I don't have too.

Me too!

I think you'll be happier with the Dell... Specs are better.. and you'll have some money left over for RAM/HDD upgrade or whatnot..
 
I also forgot to mention that the HP is TOUCH SCREEN! So if you're in to that, go ahead and get it.. But you'll be losing out on the 16GB of RAM and a 1TB HDD...
 
I have Inspiron 17R, and its awesome a perfect choice for the university. All my friends also love my choice and specially the display, for some of them its a bit big but then its give a perfect view and enjoyment when playing a game. Go for the dell one.
