Which laptop should I get for gaming?

Well they both have there differences.

The alienware has a smaller hard drive but a gig of ram which is very important when it comes to gaming

1. How much does each of these come to?

2. How much are you planning on spending?

3. If mobility is a main use for this laptop then the alienware will get better battery life with its mobile processor.

4. Unless you really need a gaming laptop, dont get it, you can get a lot more for your money when u buy a desktop and it would be better for gaming.
 
Yeah, I'd stay away from a Pentium 4 in a laptop, unless it's a desktop replacement and not mainly needed for it's portability. If battery life is a requirement, I'd definitely get a Pentium M processor.
 
what exactly is your budget? and as the person 2 posts above said..they both have the pros and cons
 
My budget

Both came to about 1,200 to 1,300. This is not my main computer, I have a sony vaio, etc desktop. This will be for playing games while I am traveling, etc.
 
Go with a Pentium M, my cousin has an Alienware with a P-4 in it and it consumes so much power that in order to boot it up it MUST be plugged in, and the battery life is next to nothing.
 
thats pretty pointless to have a laptop that you have to keep plugged in. The whole idea of laptops is so they can be portable. I would go with the pentium m line of computers, and if your worried about having battery shortages, buy a larger battery or carry a spare with you.
