which laptop

I wanna buy a laptop for in my dorm.
There is a wireless network and the laptop will be mainly used on AC, so mobility is not very important.

usage:
- office
- watching video's
- play some games (casual, older on high, new on low-medium settings)
- surf the net
- programming

I looked around a little and found these two laptops:

I was wondering which of these two laptops you guys would pick and why?

*websites are dutch but specs should be clear, otherwise you can always use google translate.

i was going to jump in and say the acer, but the one on newegg has a slightly nicer screen and keyboard (keyboard is backlit) but to be honest, id probably grab the toshiba as their nearly identical to me

I do not care for Toshiba in the fact they load there computers with tones of bloat ware, plus there build quality is good on some models but others not so much.

Acer may not be of the highest quality in builds but there models are all the same in build quality, and personally I feel they are built better. Even though AMD does not have anything to match Intel I would say that there quad core is better then a i5 dual core.

Get the acer.
