Which memory for new build?

If you're not going to overclock the ram, why buy 2000mhz rated? It appears the highest speed ram that mobo supports on it's default memory controller is 1600mhz, so buying any higher would be a waste unless you plan to make use of it's potential speeds at some point in the future.

Good point, I didn't think of that. I researched G.Skill and they have 3 that fit that bill

9-9-9-24-2N 1.6v
8-9-8-24-2N 1.6v is this the best of these options since it is CAS 8?
9-9-9-24-2N 1.5v
 
I hope you are aware that there are problems going on with Socket 1155 motherboards at the present. Motherboard manufacturers had to do a recall of Socket 1155 motherboards. I do believe the problems should be solved by March 15th.
