Which memory for new build?

I am in the process of getting together my next build and have a question about memory.

The build is going to be an i7 2600K on either a Maximus IV or P67A-UD7 MOBO running 2 Gigabyte GTX 570's.

There will be no OC'ing of the RAM, but for some of the work I do, I want/need fast, stable RAM.

If you had to choose between these 2, which would you pick.

If you're not going to overclock the ram, why buy 2000mhz rated? It appears the highest speed ram that mobo supports on it's default memory controller is 1600mhz, so buying any higher would be a waste unless you plan to make use of it's potential speeds at some point in the future.

Good point, I didn't think of that. I researched G.Skill and they have 3 that fit that bill

8-9-8-24-2N 1.6v is this the best of these options since it is CAS 8?
9-9-9-24-2N 1.5v

I hope you are aware that there are problems going on with Socket 1155 motherboards at the present. Motherboard manufacturers had to do a recall of Socket 1155 motherboards. I do believe the problems should be solved by March 15th.

Yes I am aware of that. Thanks. I believe it is the Intel SATA II 3/gbs controller problem. Or is there something else?

No I believe that was the only issue. If I were you I would wait until you could get the fixed Socket 1155 motherboards.

Cool. I planned on it as I am not ready to build till mid April.
