which mobo?

I would say no to the Socket 478 processor. It is going to be phased out by intel. I would reccomend a Skt 775, as there are better motherboards for it. As for a motherboard, i would really reccomend an Asus P5ND2 SLI Deluxe. It supports 64 Bit processors, DDR2, SATA2,SLI, RAID ect. It really is a future proof board. I love it! But if you got that, you would need to change your Video card to the PCI-e model, it shouldnt be too much more. Memory you would also need to change. A good DDR2 kit is the Corsair Value 667Mhz Kit. Its 1GB (2x 512mb) When you upgrade, the ultimate in DDR2 RAM is probably the Corsair XMS Kits. They go up to 1Ghz, and they are FAST!
You would also need a HDD ect, You can still use a SATA HDD, but for 3Gb/s speeds you need a SATA2 Drive. I am getting the Western Digital WD2000JS Caviar SE 200GB HDD. Its SATA2.
As for a DVD-RW, the Lite-On SHW-1635S 16X DVD±RW is exelent. It is fast and is cheap.
Anything else?
