I am currently using the first one, and one of the main reasons I chose it was because of the versatility. But I have the second one in the mail and I am wondering if I should sell it or flip the one I am currently using.

First thing to mention here is that forget about plugging the X-Box into the monitor to use that as the display. You need to at least go through a tv receiver then to a separate display due to the difference of signal type.

The fist sees a slower response time while the difference is minor since both are under 8ms and even below 5ms. The screen size depends on your preference while the 26" sees a higher contrast ratio compared the 24" flexibility on input.
