Which monitor is better?

I have a regular system...AMD 3700...with a GeForce 7600 GS..I like to watch movies/tv shows and maybe play the occasional counter strike or civilization game

I found these two monitors and both seem like good deals

I would go with the 22". It has a 5ms response time which is great. Although the LG has a 2ms response time, the acer is 22"!! Thats big. I would def. go for the acer

3 days is definitely worth the extra 3" real estate, and it has free shipping as well!

Very doubtful you will notice any problems with ghosting on 5ms for 22". If it was like 26" you might want 2ms but overwise its overkill in my opinion.

My 17" LCD has a 12ms response time and my 26" LCD has an 8ms response time and I have never notice "Ghosting" on either one.

I think I've decided I'm gonna go for teh 19 inch LG one...I live in a dorm and my computer desk has limited space...is that 3 inch of extra space REALLY that much of a difference that it absolutely would make the Acer the better choice?

fair is steep for that one...I was looking to spend under $200 but the $199 was prolly my limit

do you guys think its a mistake going for the lg 19 inch with 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 2ms response for $199 over the Acer thats 22 inchs 5 ms response and 700:1 contrast ratio?

the aceris only 20 dollars more but I think 19 inches is about the biggest i can handle lol

10,000:1 is most likely the Dynamic Contrast Ratio. I would still take the Acer. 3", higher resolution, it's a win, win.
