Which Monitor?

I'm looking into purchasing a new monitor because the one I have right now is way to bulky and hardly fits on my desk. I'm looking for a flat screen LCD monitor but not sure what to get. I've heard that some LCD screens affect gaming performance because of ghosting and such. Anyone have any suggestions of what I should get?

Size preference? And how much are you willing to spend?

Right now 17" LCD's are CHEAP, and they have them anywhere from 4ms to like 40ms (lower the better to reduce "ghosting" in games and such.)\

etc. Personally i would go with the Acer or the Samsung. But there are SOO many to choose from. Try to get 16ms or lower for best performance.

Ghosting only really only is a problem when playing games that have lots of crap moving around (most, but not all, games) and if you have a LCD timing of more than 16ms :) (although realistically you should peg the bar at 12/14ms as a minimum)

i have a 8ms hyundai and 16ms sceptre, the sceptre does ghost to the point where i had to get the hyundai I would try to get a 8ms lcd from new egg or something theirs a variety of 17" under 250.00 and the 8ms 19" aren't so bad now either.
