which motherboard asus gigabyte

hi all
im looking at upgrading computer and need help

looking at
asus p5k-e
ga-p35-ds3p


want to play games like c&c 3 and redalert 3 when it comes out

i play my music from computer sending it to a amp in house and outside

any ideas on what sort of board

are these good boards for this

any help would be great

i have a 2004 rz motherboard
p4 2.8
2 GB ddr

looking at new motherboard and chipset

say $200-250 motherboard
quad core or duo?

ddr2 memory
 
ive never had any trouble from ASUS.. the other guys are good as well..the people on here will help ya pick a great Intel Mobo....

If you have $200 for Motherboard, go for GIGABYTE GA-EX38-DS4
CPU: may be E8400, but it quite expensive now as a lot of demand.
Or may be waiting another week to see if the Q9300/ Q9450 release

I would go for gigabyte, they had a good line up and reliability.
Once i like to use asus but since their mainstream mb sucks (i had incompability problem and have to exchange 3 asus mb because of 1 same problem and their support aren't any help at all they instead propose me to exchange the current mb to another different one with a price!!)
But now i can relax since i found this good performance and price mb :-D
 
Thats great enough.
Whats your vga? Just questioned since you only had 520 watt psu.
For the memory, go for 4 gig if u have spare money.
